Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team and lead the visual and user experience design aspects of our app. As the Senior Design Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the design vision and strategy for our app. Your logical thinking, combined with your expertise in UI/UX design, will drive the creation of intuitive and visually appealing experiences.
Responsibilities
Design strategy: Develop and communicate a clear design vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values.
Team management: Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
UI/UX expertise: Utilize your strong UI/UX design skills to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, considering user needs and preferences.
Design reviews: Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to the design team to ensure design excellence.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure design solutions align with business objectives.
User research and testing: Apply user research methodologies and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.
Design standards: Establish and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and a cohesive user experience.
Industry awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, incorporating them into design processes and solutions.
Requirement
Proven experience (5-10 years) in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
Logical thinking: Ability to think logically and analytically, understanding user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints to create effective design solutions.
Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
Experience in the fintech industry is preferred, with a solid understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
